New Bumots

These look nice, much better the the old style ones, a lot of money though. Wonder how wide they are compared to the Orem panniers (for filtering).

What size are the ones in post #324? And how much for the panniers only (no frames)?

What size are the ones in post #324? And how much for the panniers only (no frames)?

The ones shown in post #324 are the 31/35Ltr Panniers - price for panniers only (no rack) is £667.00 - price is the same for all sizes, 31/35Ltr, 36/40Ltr, 41/45Ltr

We will only be stocking the panniers and top boxes in Black or Frozen Grey colours, as the Aluminium finish is raw aluminium with no coating or anodising, so will be available as a special order only.

Who was it on here who got new tubeless wheels for his AT ?
Was looking at the ATAS at EICMA today sporting alpina rims and it did look good

I took an ATAS out...I had such high hopes.

Good points

Quite nicely put together
Nice chassis
Nice suspension
comfy
Looks nice

Not so good
*Felt flat with not much torque and I say this as a F800 GS rider..... :blast
FI felt snatchy
Didnt like the mulitfunction display and controls
Didnt excite me :(
**But the worst thing by 1.6 KM was the wind buffeting. It was by far the worst Id ever encountered on a bike. I felt it was unridable over about 50 mph.

* Did I ride a bad one ?
** I guess this can be fixed with a different screen.

I am going to ride a standard AT... but if not then I think I will be looking at the KTM 790

Yes they are very nice indeed. Just had a look at the price, not sure I can justify £1550 though nice as they are. Never say never though :green gri

They seem much more expensive on there than through alpinaraggi.it !

IIRC, they don’t let you buy direct from Italy and redirect you to the U.K. importer. I’m sure with your connections, you could get round that little hurdle. ;)

Might bite the bullet and get a set.

I like the gold rims as standard but not sure when done like this :

So I guess blue/gold as per the bike at EICMA is a better bet ?

Thoughts
