1100gs left indicator not cancelling

I've had a few electrical gremlins over the last few years including indicator cancelling switch but this is a new one the right indicator cancels fine but i have to switch off the ignition to get the left-hand off
Flasher unit ?

I have a spare 1100 flasher relay chas - where in scotland are you?

Likely the microswitch is full of water or badly corroded

Worth having a look

A few I have pulled apart had Green copper contacts

N.B. You cannot replace it with the ABS microswitch!

In Hamilton gog and i don't think it's the switch this time I've did the Swiss watch switch gear strip and clean twice before but that was both indicators not canceling it's just the left one this time witch makes me think it's the ecu
