Combine Mudsling and Hepco & Becker Explorer luggage rack - Fitting issue

Got my new GS home yesterday

I cant install the Mudsling (original MachineArt) unless I unbolt the luggage rack first!
But I cant be sure if fitment is possible at all, luggage rack mountings are pretty close to the frame...

Do somebody other have this combination?

Machine art says you cannot do it.

Really? I can take mine on and off easily with the rack fitted. Mines a 2016 GSA1200
