The original grips on my XChallenge have had it.

I quite like the originals but from BMW you can only buy the right hand one with the throttle tube for some reason - I've been quoted £51.06.

I'm sure I've seen the same grips on other bikes - anyone any idea where I could source the grip only?

Cheers,

Ian.

Isn't the left bonded to the bars?

The old LH grip can be very easily cut off from the bar and the new one glued on . Similarly on the RH one you can cut the rubber grip off the throttle tube and glue the new one on . The Ariete grips are handed so the RH one is slightly larger than the 22mm Bar to accommodate the throttle tube .

I might have some near new grips at home somewhere- you're welcome to them if i can find them.

I changed my bars and grips soon after buying the bike- the standard bar is actually made of scaffold tube, so i've fitted a set of renthal bars, along with their waffle grips. Much more comfortable.

Nathan
