Had anyone fitted the Givi S250 toolbox and fitting kit on the Givi PLE 5108 rails? Specifically on a low chassis GS.
I’ve had to take a DS toolbox off because it kept hitting the rear mudguard when the rear suspension was compressed.
I’m hoping the Givi toolbox fits better and misses the mudguard .

If you look at the picture on this website, it seems you can tilt it, as to clear the Mudguard

Thanks, I didn’t know about those pictures . I went to Ghost Bikes this afternoon and bought the toolbox with the universal kit.
I looked at the pictures of the 2 kits on EBay and they are identical so I got the kit they had in stock, but there must be different mounting plates in the kits to angle it more.

Bugger I’m too impatient. Fitted the universal kit and it’s hard to tell how much suspension travel there is.
The toolbox sits flat with the supplied mounting kit.

Well you just need the Camkit in the link I gave you, and you will be sorted, it just goes between the box and the pannier frame, another way also below.
