Anyone ever washed Nav VI case???

I had a milk accident last week in the topbox whilst in Scotland and everything got covered in milk!! I’ve cleaned washed everything including the Nav VI case but it still pongs!!!

Considering sticking it in the washing machine but before I do has anyone done this? Afraid I’ll kill it!!!

stick it in a cold bucket of water overnight, 1 part vinegar 4 parts water, that will get rid of the milk pong, then another light wash to take away the vinegar smell.
