Created a nice route up to the Mach Loop (RAF fighter fly through) in North Wales yesterday and noticed on Google Map a lane through the hills to Aberllefenni. (See photo) However on basecamp this lane does not exist.

I haven’t tried it but in such an instance if I were to create the route in Google maps and then transfer to basecamp, would basecamp reject the route because it can’t see the lane?

Thanks for the advice
Glenn

I've had this before with military roads. IIRC I got round it by plotting a new 'Track' in Basecamp where the road is and then joining my route to either end of it.

It happens.

You could try loading Open Street Maps - to see if the 'road' is there. If it is, use that to create your route or, as above, create a track.
