Hi all,

I’m asking for a friend that owns a Serow, and wants to fit two riding lights to the front of his bike. In your opinions what is the best option and make of LED lights to get based on a good light output. And also where is the best place to get mounting brackets that could be adapted for his needs?

Many thanks in advance :thumb2

The cone beam type throw as much light upwards as down. Unless very weak or set low with a dimmer, they will dazzle people.

If he wants long range pencil beams the uber low cost items on eBay do a great job. The annoying strobe feature is easily disabled (see YouTube). They are machined from billet alloy but are so low cost to be almost disposable.

They must have been made by the million and cheap enough to be junk. but mine have gone through 2 winters and still working fine. The beam is narrow long range.

This type has an angel ring that’s ideal as a daylight marker.
