I have just bought a 2016 GS1200TE Alpine. I part exchanged my Yamaha FJR 1300 (great bike) as I fancied a change. I rode home from London to Chester on the GS and was really impressed with the torque from the engine, stability and comfort.
Looking forward to this years trips, a week in Scotland next week (approx 1600 miles) and two weeks in Spain in September, already booked.
I have already added a mudsling, front fender extender and cylinder protectors. Looking forward to meeting up and listening to everyones experiences.
