2018 Roadtrip

We had to leave Tombstone fairly early as I’d booked a tour around the “Desert Boneyard” outside Tucson where the US military have around 3600 aircraft stored

This was followed by a visit the adjacent Pima Air Museum which had a nice collection of WW2 warbirds and a vast (but not as interesting) collection of jets, including the massive B-36

This was followed by a night at a very nice B&B in the university district of Tucson with only moderate amounts of alcohol and far too much pizza in a pizzeria/craft brewery called 1702 - highly recommended
