Hi guys! I'm planning a road trip in August and will try to camp out when I can. I'm getting a new tent and I've come across the Slingfin 2Lite Trek which seems to meet all my needs. I'm totally in love with the design and it's lightweight (mainly because I also like backpacking on the weekend as well).

I'm very close to buying this but it is a £300+ option which is within budget but still big money, I'd like to make sure I've taken into account all the info and that I pick a good tent that will last years. Slingfin seems to be a new brand but everything I've read about it has been good. Found some reviews here https://sectionhiker.com/slingfin-2lite-tent-review/ and https://professionalcamping.com/slingfin-2lite-trek-full-review/ but I'm looking for more user's experience on this particular tent, the brand, and possibly any suggestions on the better options (with similar design if possible --- I really dig it).

PS. I don't camp in subzero weather so I do not need super warm tent :)

Thank you !

buy a cheaper one first to see if you like it !plenty of small one man tents about for hiking . it will give you a better idea of what suits your needs .

Thanks for your suggestion halfpint. I thought the same, so while looking out to more reviews on the Slingfin's I also look for cheaper options.
