Just cleaning the 1290. Noticed a sizeable gob of LM grease on the rad guard. Got a torch and had a look 'up' and there's grease leaving the lower headstock area. Not seen it before. Did some light off-road above Abergavenny on Friday afternoon but nothing horrendous.

I'm guessing others have had this and wondering if a visit to KTM is needed?? Hope not!

KTM are buggers and seem to apply grease to all the spots that need it rather than sending out new bikes desperately in need of stripping and greasing like the Jap stuff.

Hmmmm.....really....

They are also know not to grease things as well btw....

Damn, any pointers as to where?

At least with my Yamaha I knew I needed to Grease all the Wheel Spindles, Swingarm Pivot, Suspension Linkages and Steering Head Bearings right away (Although I only did half those jobs in the 4 years I owned it)
