Should the front sprocket on a 2016 F700GS have the washer bent over the retaining nut (similar to that found on 650 twin model) or is that no longer required?

Thanks

Sharif , the F800 front sprocket uses a Belleville washer, I’m sure the F700 will be the same

We have 2010 and 2011 F650GS twins. Neither has a bent washer. I'll bet the F700GS doesn't either.

It sure dosent..

Actually, it does.
The smaller washer in the picture, BMW calls it diaphragåm washer. This means it is bent like discribed above and turns flat when you tighten the screw.
