My mum once told me

That engine looks beautiful.....I may have a wank over the pictures later...

I can picture the ape on this bike,he’d look even sillier than on the fake Bmw retro he spunked a fortune on.:D:D:D
(Sorry twizz)

After following your previous advice I sold the fake retro......a year and 3,000 miles cost me a bag of sand so not too disappointed...

Just found this thread Mike,
Loving it so far, keep up the good work. Exhausts can be a PITA if you are making up specials, getting the hangers sorted etc, that’s why many use Lafranchis (sp?)

Here, have a template on me (EDIT, Sorry Mike, Forgot that you’d seen it at Stafford:blast )

Love your bike!
It’s very special,
I’ll be going in a slightly different direction on a few bits,
No side panels. I like the minimalist look.
Sticking with the cast wheels,I did ponder but,,,,
No motogadget stuff.
Tank has been commissioned,to be made by TAB11.
If I don’t like it I’ll have a rethink, but I’ll be rethinking in a few weeks rather than next summer!
Everything else will be hand made in house.
Fire up the lathe and mill:D
Just bought a new tig welding set as well so I’ll see if I can weld my fingers together :aidan

The support bearing that fits in the swing arm actually has 4 cracks in the inner race:eek:
