I will be riding down to Haynes Motor Museum in Sparkford, Somerset on the Saturday - it's the museum started by the John Haynes of Haynes Manual/Haynes Publishing fame.
I have been before and I rate it higher as a car museum then Beaulieu. It really is very good. If you have even the slightest interest in cars I guarantee you'll enjoy it.
It's about an hour's ride from the Hogroast - straight down the A303 westwards to Sparkford.
The A303 is likely to be busy on a Saturday morning so we may get split up along the way. I will issue some maps to anyone who wants to come.
Entrance is £6.95 and they have catering facilities on site with home-cooked food. If there are 15 or more in the group we get a group discount making it £5.25 per person.
Let's meet up in the Hograost pub car park at 10.30am (with a full tank of petrol) and take it from there.
Do put a reply here if you're interested and I'll look out for you on Saturday
Cheers
