Just a quick note, you need the engine running for the suspension ride height to adjust or you won't feel it move.

I had a 2016 standard gs and now have a new rallye lowered suspension model.Even with the front seat in the high position it is much lower than the 2016 model.Hope this helps.

Did you have a low seat on your standard bike?

No I had a the normal seat on the standard bike.

That may be the biggest difference you’re seeing. I’m using the same seat on both.

I think the bike is a lot lower.On some twisting climbs I am scrapping pegs ,which i never did in the standard height GS.My feet are definitely more planted.
