today i changed the oil on my 09 1200GS (24,000)

After i was all finished i realised that id picked up the wrong bottle of oil, instead of Castrol power 1 racing i picked up standard power 1.
So ive ended up puting in a semi when I should have put in a fully synt

So my question... should I just leave it as its a good quality oil in the correct viscosity just not a fully synth
or dump it and start again?

depends

are you going racing?

No? Ride more, worry less.

Yes? You are on the wrong bike.

A GS doesn't need fully synth
It's a tractor engine
Semi is fine
Leave it in there

Semi is absolutely fine for the Hexhead.

I reckon older GS's will run on Nutella.

Does it have to be a brand?

Will Asda's own be OK?

(There are other supermarkets and purveyors of Nutella look-a-likes)

I wish I could help, unfortunately when I buy Nutella it never makes it as far as the bike.

+1 by the time I've smothered my c*ck in it...for my labrador's pleasure :D, there's never even enough left for breakfast, let alone anything else ;)

Tut Tut. This is a genuine BMW tractor so anything less than genuine Swiss Nutella won't do. The Adventure even has a little pocked under the petrol tank where you can stash a spare jar of Nutella for those scary rides to the other side of the channel.

How can we be sure the nuts in Nutella, are Nutella nuts?

does it come with a certificate of nuttyness?

And what spec is it ? yummy, double yummy, and what its frequency of change?
