Fault Code Reader

No idea, but as it's just had its 6000 mile service and has never thrown up any errors on the display during its 1 year of life, although curious, I'll ignore them.

??? What's the point of having the code reader then?

Because significant faults are flagged on the display and shown as text and failing that, you research and ask.

I have a 2018 model RT LE.I have just purchased a 16 Pin GS 911 USB version.Unless you really do need the WiFi,the USB version, which does everything the WiFi does,is £100 cheaper.Either way if you own a BMW bike and intend to service it yourself, the GS 911,is the only way to go.The best deal I could find for the GS911,was from Gendan LTD,in Swansea.Hope this helps
