Looks like the brake calipers are Hayes? There is a 1250 on display at copdock.

This has been covered in the “who is buying a 1250 GS” thread. I believe the front callipers are Hayes but the rear remains as Brembo. Not sure why they’ve switched but imagine it’s related to cost-saving with the same performance. They look like 4-piston radial callipers so I’m sure they’ll stop just as smartly.
Hayes are very popular brake manufacturers … in the push bike world 
Yes, never seen them on a motor sickle before. Maybe you’ll be able to spec rockshox as an option.

Exactly. They don’t exactly have to be that good, do they? Especially as Harley’s have a top speed of 53mph.

The new brakes look like a dual piece construction compared to the current Brembo monoblocs - hmmmmmmmmm
