BMW R1150GSA silver paint colour match

Can anyone with experience of front fork refurbs tell me the best silver paint (code?) for the lower fork yolk please. Also, am I right in thinking that silver smoothrite, possibly rubbed on with a clean rag, is a decent match for the bottoms? :beerjug:

I de greased, quick sand then sprayed on silver hammerite smooth, try and leave a few days before you re assemble

Warm up the metal with a hot air gun when using hammerite smooth silver. Makes for a perfect and long lasting finish.
