Hi

I'm thinking about doing the fix detailed in the below post on advrider, as my throttle bodies are making a racket.

https://advrider.com/f/threads/bushings-to-bearings-throttle-body.1223612/

It's a pretty vague write up, but was just wondering if anyone has had any success with it or can shed some more detail on the process?

I'm not sure I fancy playing with the throttle stop screws and the suggested "motronic learn"

In theory it seems like a good option to move from the bush to the bearing, but then again it may just be easier to replace as per original design.

Cheers

Replace with a Dan Cata kit, and certainly do not use his flawed realignment procedure. A ball bearing sounds like a good idea, but how much leakage is there at through the bearing? And as for his realignment procedure, it’s just mid-informed.
