Not a great start

Try a bit of granite lube (NOT WD40) in the lock. One of mine was a bit tight when it was first new.

Mine were exactly the same. All the locks were stiff and keys wouldn’t go in properly. Liberal spray with acf50 and key in and out lock/unlock numerous times and itheyve been fine since

...If its any comfort, when I was a poor, hard up courier in Birmingham in the 80's I had a brand new MZ ETZ250 delivered to my house the dealer had just left when it burst into flames and completely destroyed itself..

Who’d have thunk it - an MZ with a conscience - and does the decent thing.

Sorry MZ lovers - couldn’t resist that. I’ll get me coat.

If you got it from a dealer whether it's new or not, it's their problem NOT yours, give it back, give them a 'reasonable' amount of time to fix it and if it's not 100% then reject it.

Calm down, calm down...

Odds are suspension is ESA waiting for a tosser to mount up and push the right buttons; "leak" is just the bike sweating a bit and pannier lock stiff like they all are when new.

By the morning it'll all be good to go.
