Lately when i go on Ukgser i don't get https: but "not secure".
Is it a problem on my end or the website?

I've been experiencing this for a while now, but only on my mobile devices, regardless of where I try from. They are Apple and go through Safari browser and it is annoying as I can no longer log in using my iPad, when abroad etc. I spoke with Paul about it months ago, he couldn't understand it and reset my password but it made no difference.

What is even more infuriating is that everything works fine from my iMac or MacBook pro, both via Safari. I have tried googling this issue as I suspect it is a security setting somewhere on the mobile devices, but I am not tech enough to find it ...........

The site isn't redirecting to https if you only use www it isn't encrypted. If you manually put https you still get a warning because elements of the page still isn't encrypted, presumably from a different source. Most browsers but not all now alert to anything that isn't encrypted as insecure whether it actually needs to be encrypted or not.

Using an iPad, just updated the iOS to 12.2, and now getting the not secure message.

Could be the Russians, or just Apple messing about.

Right,

I do understand that this has been raised, including by me before, but I am still no nearer solving it. I had to go away overseas at short notice and had posted some bits for free in the FS&W section. I took my iPad with me as my only tech equipment, and then saw I was getting PMs (e-mail alerts) re the advert. I could not reply as it refused to let me log in for the reasons mentioned in the posts above.

I have 'googled' the issue and tried a few things suggested but nothing allows me to be able to log in and use the site as a registered member, safari blocks me every time. This has been frustrating for me and no doubt for those trying to contact me.

Is anyone able to point me to a solution to stop me being prevented getting logged onto the site with my iPhone and iPad?

Thanks you.

My iPhone (via the mobile web interface on Safari, not Tapaalk which I hate) and my Mac (on Safari) both come up as unsecure in the address bar but allow me access with no issues

I'm definitely not using Tapatalk, I hate it, but it won't work via mobile web on the iPhone or iPad. It must be a setting thing somewhere if it works for you? I have looked but cannot see which setting needs to be altered........

Thanks for the replies though .... Anyone know for sure.

I too got INSECURE, so I logged out and back in again; now it says https//

That is interesting. I've not been logged in for ages on these devices, so can't log out as you did. But I did clear all cookies and stuff, update the devices and also then reset settings to try and do this but without success. I'll try again ....
