OK. Fekin puncture - small nail pulled out , tyre flat as a flat tyre could be.
Cant take the wheel off as i'm short a 60mm socket and a 250nm torque wrench.(all mine normal size:D)

So. Anyone used these mobile guys before or recommend a mobile one ?

Screw in a self tapper. Pump up and ride. If anyone asks just plead ignorance JJH

Something with a single sided swingarm..... Ducati or KTM would be my guess

Sent from a U11

(OK..... I didn't look at his profile before I posted, but I have done now)

Time is my issue. Cant wait for a plug and go kit . I have no car :cock Just my 1290 GT !;)

Do as said. Self tapper won’t budge. Popped one in a fireblade rear once in France and finished the last 400 mls without even a top up

Mate of mine used them in Cardiff, highly rated them and he’s a fussy git.

As above self tapper covered with glue on the inside of screw and you will be fine.

Self tapper is an old despatcher's trick - it works.

Where in Welsh Wales are you? I have a bike to photograph in Cowbridge in the not too distant future..I can plug it for you, it will take me about 5 minutes to do a proper job (one that would last me 10,000 miles on the 1150. The self tapper trick will keep you mobile until I am down there.... just ride with a little decorum on the self tapper fix.

Ktm 1290 GT ideally needs the correct socket tool, to avoid damage, ironically I bought the tool and the high torque wrench just aftr I bought my GT, but didn’t need/use it, now its sold. Dont suppose many tyre fitters will have it either, good luck !

One of my colleagues uses them and is happy with the service. :thumb

...or if you have breakdown cover (AA, RAC, etc...), they can do tyre repairs too.

Nice guy, on time and a biker himself seems a good job, wheel off, tyre off plugged from the inside. Took the bike out today, rear tyre pressure display in my favorites as i'm not a fan of the plug but heaho shits moved on nowadays. :thumby:
