Ceramic Coating Detailing days

Hi chaps, with the weather turning, our Glass Guard might be of interest. There are a few similar products on the market, but a lot of them suffer from issues with wiper judder, etc, this is because the formulation is very similar to the paintwork ceramics and they offer 2-3 year longevity claims. However, they really work best on completely new glass that has also been machine prepared, as the tiniest bumps. scratches cause issues.
Our coating doesn't last as long - about 4 months in the winter months and 6-8 months Spring / Summer. The bottle should do around 8-10 times on an average sized saloon. All the glass on the car - probably 5-6 times.
It works best in conjunction with our Mega Glass Cleaner. This is done to get the glass absolutely clean beforehand, getting all embedded contaminants out and you'll see a visible difference in the glass.

Glass Guard is £29.99 and Mega Glass Clean is £25.99

We can offer a super deal at £39.99 for both inc applicator pads. Pm me for order details.

Hi chaps,

Video fo CNS Bodyguard Ceramic Coating being applied today:

Hi thanks for quick postage on the items I ordered.

I've followed the process in the video, all seemed easy enough apart from nearly slicing my finger off on something very sharp!!

So its all done and ready to see how it performs, bike is certainly very clean now and hopefully will stay that way.

Just one thing, its mentions in the video using an IPA solution? I didnt order this as I already had some, which is 99%. When you use it do you water this down or use neat (99%).

Thanks for posting this information and your products.

In terms of feedback; I think you may need to be a little clearer on the products named in this post and how they differ and are used, it does seem a little confusing when you start recommending one product (Aquacoat Pro) and then move onto to describing the use of another (Bodyguard Ceramic). Just a thought. Also you may wish to put these packages on your website, ie 'Bike Ceramic Kit' then its very easy to order, as you have many microfibre clothes etc advertised and I wasn't sure which ones to ad to the cart. (Probably any would do)

all the best and thanks Alistair

Thanks for the feedback Alastair - our new site is going live shortly - hopefully by the weekend. There is a biker kit, which has everything for the bike and various other car kits listed clearly.. The IPA is ready to use in the kit, I don't know what you have or the dilution ratios for it. The IPA is a critical step, as any oils, silicones, waxes, etc on the paints / plastics will stop the ceramic from bonding cleanly to the paint and will affect the durability.

I'll start a new thread once the site is updated to make it clearer.

So chaps, just to be clear, please pm if you'd like a kit:

For home application, we recommend:

Bike:

Bodyguard Ceramic Kit - £80 (inc applicators, mf cloths and Bodyguard Ceramic)

Cars:

Aqaucoat Pro Full Kit- £149 (inc. mf cloths, applicators, IPA solution, gloves and aqua coat pro 60ml)

Again, if there's any interest in a detailing day we can offer application at one of our detailing studios - as per the first post.

Hi thats great, just done my second bike with the kit, spent time on all the cleaning and the IPA, so should be spot on.

Are you based in Preston?

cheers Ali

photos of bike and car!!

Hi, its hard to actually see how shiny the bike is, and the idea is that it will repel water and grime etc for a good long while. Hence I've included the Smart car which I did too, and have driven round in this for the last 2 weeks in the awful weather weve been having.
