Most of you will have seen the threads concerning the sad passing of Chris Tunbridge.

Now, the last thing Chris would have wanted was a load of old bearded overweight blokes (greatest respect...) and gals moping around for ever and a day. So, it's time to lighten the mood in the best possible way.

If you didn't know Chris, here are two things that are important:

1) he was a real joker, loved a laugh
2) he was VERY fussy about the fact that he never used vinyl stickers - all his beautiful work was achieved purely with paint.

So.. how better could we honour his memory than by covering his lovely work with stickers!!??

Here's what we have for you -

The excellent tank-shaped design was created by Steve (2-wheel humvee), who also arranged for them to be printed and sent to me at NO COST. Huge thanks to Steve and his colleagues - if you're unaware of his day job and his fantastic products, look here - www.humvee-graphics.com

They are limited to just 100 of the smaller size (approx 95mm wide) and 100 of the larger size (approx 155mm wide), and here's how you can make sure that you too get your hands on this season's MUST HAVE ACCESSORY.

The real point of this is that your payment goes straight to the Movember charity. You'll know them through the Distinguished Gentleman's Rides - not only are they associated with motorcycles, but much of what they raise goes directly to men's mental health charities, which is kind of the point of all this.

So how do you get your wonderful stickers?

Go to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride website and access the 'Donation' page. https://www.gentlemansride.com/sponsor

Complete the details and make your donation.

Then... you will receive a confirmation email from them. Just forward that to me - along with a note saying "one big one and one small one" or whatever, and your address - I will then post them off (second class). My email address is ----- paul at skillwise dot net

Following Steve's great example, I am not charging anything for the P&P, so EVERY PENNY of your donation goes straight to the charity.

Prices - £5 for the smaller one and £6 for the larger one.

Still in 2 minds? Think about it, do you really want to be the only person at Box Hill, or Sherburn, or the Ponderosa without a sticker? :aidan

Nice one Paul & Steve :beerjug:

I've just ordered 2 small ones, fucked up a bit on the donation bit and sent $20 but that's a good fuck up isn't it :D (Note to anybody else, there is an option to change the currency on the website :blast ).

As you know Paul, I turned up at Chris's on the Saturday morning after his passing with my Bultaco for him to paint which is how I found out about the sad news. It was his next job having just finished some work for Mikeyboy and Chris and I had been plotting what he was going to do to the Bully do for some time.

Ironically, whilst he said he could reproduce the graphics by hand we decided on using stickers as that was in keeping with the original bike.........

Anyway, I have a plan. When the bodywork gets sprayed up I'm gonna have the stickers incorporated into the paint work and lacquered over in memorium to Chris.

To Chris :beerjug:

Thanks for the bump Baldrick!

Wow, this has been such a great response, already a very good amount has been raised.

Seems we have a few dyslexics within our community.. people who should have entered '£5' for a small sticker have inadvertently entered a greater sum.... :beerjug: :thumb

As far as I remember, it was Dorsal Fin who first raised this as an idea, so thanks to you fella!

I had a bit of an idea this morning.

Wouldn't it be brilliant, if when you visited your favourite biker meet-up spot, there was one of these CT stickers behind the bar, or the counter, or whatever?

So... if you are a regular at any of these spots, let me know and I'll send you a big sticker gratis for you to stick up there.

Who goes to the Ace? Rykers? Sherburn? Where do we meet in NI? Dublin? The Highlands, the Lowlands? Cornwall? Marrakech?

Put your hand up, PM me your address and I'll get one to you :thumb2 Then just send us a pic of the sticker in situ and we'll all be very chuffed.
