My birthday started just great today.
They say bad luck comes in three
1)Taking the bike off its trolley I managed to drop the bike on its left side.
2) This resulted in it cracking the screen.
I glue the screen back together and go inside to get all togged up for a ride over the Remutaka Hill to have birthday brunch.
3) Hop on the bike ready to set off start the motor pull the clutch in and no clutch pressure.
What had looked like the neighbours cat had pissed in the garage now was looking suspiciously like DOT4 fluid.
Strip the clutch slave out and a load of fluid pours out of the housing.
As the bike hasn't been ridden for some time I am hoping that the clutch plates will be ok and won't be contaminated with fluid as others say can happen. Will find out after I replace the slave.
Start to price up the parts at usual suspects and find James Sherlock are by far the cheapest, clutch hose at £22 vs £96.
Am I missing something here or are they a bloody good price.
Does anyone know of a supplier of the bleed pipe?
Thanks
Adrian
