Got a secondhand Wilburs unit for the 1150GSA. The bottom bush is 1.6mm narrower than the stock item
Sure I can shim it out but I wondered if new ones come with shims supplied or if I have a bit of an odd one?

The bolt in the bottom mount is in a bush/sleeve it might need a tap to get out. Clean it refit it and all should be well. Had the same prob on my old bike.

I know what you mean. There is a bush which fits into the nearside of the swing arm. If I tighten the bottom bolt enough it pulls that swingarm bush across to meet the narrower shock bush. Trouble is there wouldn't be much of it left in the swingarm and I'd rather shim it out.
