Since acquiring the 9T Classic i have been looking at the various methods , mine is the 2017 on with the machined cast rims on spokes,
The outex tubeless kit got me looking, then i found a few people are using the 3m tape,
yesterday i took the rear tyre off and cleaned the rim with brake cleaner, and applied two layers of 3M 4111N extreme tape 50 mm wide, this stuff is very strong and flexible with super sticky adhesive,
its held pressure and pretty sure it will last, the weight of the tube and rim band were pretty heavy,
I recall Boxerlust mentioning lighter wheels being a benefit ,
so looking forward to running to a tyre change then do the front if all is well at that point,
i accept there are risks, but many have done thousands of miles on temporary tyre repairs with no reported deaths, i do like the wheels so this is my path,,
