The painting of my r90s was completed by Chris Tunnerick about a year ago and I’m now ready to assemble onto the bike. He ended up painting the bike for me three times as the top orange coat changed when it was added to the silver base . During the 12 months he had it , there was some discussion on this site about colour selection and how to do it, sadly all of which will have no use . He worked with such skill and dedication for me to get the bike colours right and now I’m in the last stages of assembly . I’ve also fitted a new cork seal to the fuel cap . See what you think of Chris’s handiwork ,however he did say to me that he would never ever do a Daytona Orange bike again . Sadly that is all too true and I hope he can see it from somewhere higher up – “okay fella “

I would have gone for the silver smoke as the original 90S scheme (and the first BM I ever rode) but that is very nice indeed.

Looking good Byron :) RT is going well now got 26.5K on it Using the r1150gs less. May become the owner of a Silver smoke R90s soon.:beerjug:

That's stunning, look forward to seeing pics of it when finished.
Still hard to believe we won't see his quality of work again.

I had the silver smoke version...and everyone told me I should have bought the smoke orange model !!

P.S. We need a couple of scratches on that tank where people always catch the corner of the seat when removing the tank !:D

That’s stunning
If you ever decide to sell, can I have first refusal pease.
:beerjug:

OOH now that nice are you going to put clear protective film on the tank sides?

Quality paint from a very nice guy....a sad loss to all.

The bike looks great.
More pics as you get it assembled, please.
