I’ve fitted a Magura hydraulic clutch to my f700gs (it had better be worth it - they’re a pain to fit!). I now can’t get the clutch cover to go back on. it looks like the clutch pushrod isn’t lining up with the hole that the actuating arm runs through. The pushrod itself droops down at an angle quite a bit as it is very loose, thus is very difficult to line up with clutch cover. Is there an easy way out of this?

I don’t know anything about these. I have a idea. If you lie the bike over then the rod should dangle straight down into where you want it to go. JJH

Can you raise it with a length of cotton until the pushrod lines up and then pull the cotton out before the cover is bolted up?

That’s probably the best idea - even my girlfriend suggested it to me last night! I feel really dumb for not thinking of it myself!

There you go. Must take more notice of her indoors.:blast
