The screen on my circa 20 year trusty 2610 is starting to delaminate .

Anybody know if the screen can be replaced & who could do it ?

Would it be better to buy a 2nd hand unit .

Any help / advice would be appreciated .

Cheers

Harry

Changed a few screens it's not to complicated, look for a not working unit taken the screen or buy one off ebay

I have an unused 2610 kicking about somewhere - it was working last time I used it. Screen fine. A couple of the brass contacts tinned with solder due to wear. I was using OSM maps and just found it too slow to use when leading a group. Fine on your own as you can wait for it to catch up and decide what road to take at a junction. I just found it and all of the original accessories are there as well (apart from some RAM parts still used on other devices)

I will send a PM with a suggested donation to charity.
