How does it come off...

The plastic "beak" that is.
I want to take the plastic beak off to do something, but I'm not 100% sure how to go about it and have no desire to damage it. The bit with "R1200" on it

It’s held on by torx bolts (4 I think). From memory if you take the air intake covers off you will see them.
 
Keep a note of the bolt sizes and where they go, i had two left over last time, took me ages to find out where I had missed them out from. also push the bolts into a piece of cardboard and label them as they are different sizes. take it slowly and carefully. Voice of experience.....
