I have had an Interphone F4 rider/passenger system for years. I can count the number of times on one hand when I have used it as a bike-to-bike system, and it has always worked fantastically well I hasten to add with brilliant coverage on the road.
So, on to my question. I have an Arai Chaser helmet that is snug, ie, not too much room between my gob and the chin-bar which may prohibit fitting the mike. Is it possible to simply snip the mike lead and just use the speakers? Has anyone done this and if so, does the headset still work?
