Ok so I've not gone full "Tosser" but with all my kit I'm around 100kg.

The 1290 SA-R spring is rated 75kg

So after a chat with Mark at MH Racing, I got a new stiffer (ooer) spring made, and just had it fitted by him today, and at the same time he set the suspension up properly for me.

Flippin 'eck, what a difference. I thoroughly recommend for anyone of a similar build to have a chat with Mark, or your local suspension services provider, to see what they can do for you.

BTW I got the spring custom made to spec from South Yorks Spring Co in Rotheram, £48 posted.

I totally agreee it's a great idea to get the correct springs to suit the larger (or lighter) than average body. I've done the same and it definitely makes an improvement.

That's a bloody good price for a custom spring.
