March in the Massif

It's an area of France I don't know, blasted through it once years ago to the Roscoff ferry but didn't take time to explore. This is making me wonder if I should. early May I should be heading home from Italy, Corsica, etc and an alternative to Santander would be Roscoff with time in this area.
Enjoy

Not if you go off-season,like now !

Been 3 times and always been the only on there...

But I get your point.Just imagine if someone pitched up to find Le Hog had arrived for the night......

Nearly as bad as Le Hog pitching up a few hundred meters away from one's lovely, peaceful holiday home :D

my brother went to Riders rest and liked it very much he had a barbeque there and they gave him beer when he got there

I did check out Riders Rest but they don't take any bookings until April. It's a shame cos I had my Filofax and "Poetry for Dummies" book with me and could have practiced a couple of recitals on any fellow biker who I happened to be staying with. :)

After much faffery I decided it was pointless trying to get back to Limoges for 7pm so phoned my Pal to explain and headed for Aurillac for the night to drink beer and muse about what could have been. :blast

Passing Limoges going North I reflected on not being at the recital workshop.

If anyone is interested I did compose a peice about the 1968 Tet Offensive and wondered if I should drop by and leave them a copy? :nenau

“Those complacent Yanks in Saigon were oblivious to what was really going on...
For hiding in the cellars happened to be hundreds of little yellow fellas
They had tip toed down the trail and knew they would prevail...
Victory would eventually belong...
To the cunning Viet Cong!”

I kept on riding. :D

“The Tet holiday is like the Fourth of July, Christmas and New Year all rolled into one.

Every zipperhead in Nam, North and South, will be banging gongs, barking at the moon and visiting his dead relatives”

Some of my favourite parts of France covered off there and you were so lucky with the weather :)

There was an old soak from Essex
Who had not a clue about aesthetics
He rides a black pig
That nobody digs
So they're constantly given to hysterics

Looks beautiful . I love it round there . Was supposed to be going to Brittany this week but had to can the trip. Weather is stunning too .

“My poetry group in Limoges had me as a prick amongst their rose...
They didn’t understand that my talent.. would soon become apparent...
As whilst piloting my Hog I soon composed a log...
My method is certainly unorthodox as I posted it through their letterbox”

:p

Apologies I digress. :D
