Broken GS in Stockholm

It was a broken fuel filter which lead to a restriction in fuel flow which lead to intermittent power failure. I made it to the ferry terminal at 21:30.

Bike failed at 4pm on a saturday and I reached home, even through I was "fully insured" at my own expense late on Monday evening, had I not made the recovery company aware of my previous medical history, I would not have made home before Thursday or Friday at the earlist and then in a lorry.

Bike finally arrived 7 weeks later.

First time in over 24 years of european touring (sometimes upto 4 trips a year) that I have been "recovered" - not an experience I wish to repeat.

My wife and I plan an abridged version of the tour next year, Newcastle - Likopping - Stockholm - Gdansk - Berlin - Paris - home, this time to do some sightseeing on the way.
