my new racks

This is my first post on here, the rack on my Adventurer didnt stand up to what i wanted it to do and snapped so i made a new one, well two different racks and now am working on a new replacement for my 1150GS as well. There 5mm checker plate with a 12mm solid tie down rail for strength.

Gorgeous piece of kit ... would you share your specs with us? I'd be willing to give it a go myself ...

thanks for the replys, the 1150GS rack im working is a little harder as i am trying to keep the compartment for the tool box in there in a keyed compartment, if that didnt make sence i been to a rally and im feeling very second hand right now. I hope to get everything on a auto cad or some system where i gould give out sepcs, right its trial and error until i get the first one then i take a tempplate of that and so have a template of everything, here is some other stuff as in skid plates and side-stand enlargers, thanks Locky.

Have you looked at strengthening the sub frame it attaches to as well??

Would think that it would be the vulnerable bit once the rack's stronger.
