Happy to ride as a member of the support team. I have mate also interested in riding too but he rides an FJR!

Subject to confirmation of dates, I am happy to ride in a support role. Can probably offer on-bike and off-bike video at a semi-pro level if needed (subject to availability of son!).

Subject to dates I`m willing to do a support role too, I don`t have to ride all the way down to Liverpool to start though do I?

Via Cumbria

Again subject to dates and provided that gay cider drinking scouser is;nt poking his nose in every 2 miniutes, I;d be happy to assist on this leg

Depending on the date I could be the offical girl GSer for this leg. My weekends over the spring/early summer period are getting a bit booked up though, so I am sorry but I can't promise yet. I hope to be able to help though :)

Prompted by Ram man after some invaluable advice this week (and it's a pretty decent cause) I'll do some of the riding - I can start from Liverpool as I live in Warrington.

regards...Rob (1200GS)

I can start from Liverpool too and my mate, with his FJR, would probably like to tag along too if that's ok.

Anyone planned or thought of a route yet or on which day our bit would be?

As far as I can tell (from a Region 6 post) it is on Thursday 7th September, which is a shame because it almost certainly means I can't help out :(

Availability

On leave from the 1st of September, until the 23rd, won;t be available between these dates :nenau

Can I suggest the Carlisle handover to be at McDonalds Grearshill Road Kingstown Ind Est

N54 55.616 W2 56.934

Thanks

Region 7 Co-ordinator ... (is this you Davel ?) Are you able to post your route please within the Information, Support & Questions sections on the thread titled ' To All Regional Co-ordinators ... start/finish times)

Please find listed below Region 6 completion time posted below with co-ordinates.

Finishing at the Shell garage on Crosby Road Northn Thursday 7th @07.00hrs

Lat/Lon N53 28.531 W3 01.354
OS Map ref SJ 32230 98131

I noted Metal Man has requested a specific start place too which is listed above this posting.

Many thanks for your help and co-operation.
Karen. :)

Duchess, with apologies to Davel (if he is THE man)...

I have estimated a route simply to help Region 8 plan their's . I am not putting myself forward for regional coordinator because I really do not have the time.

Depart 0700, Shell service station, Crosby Rd. Liverpool
Arrive McDonalds, Grearshill Road, Carlisle 13.30.
220miles, 6.5 hours (allowing a contingency of 1 hour for stops etc).

The Cumbria stretch could take longer than Autoroute suggests and I reckon these times need physically checking. But, it's bloody cold here today!

I can probably ride but cannot co-ordinate, sorry.

Depends on business committments nearer to the time.

region 7

Karen,

My organisation skills and fund raising aren't up to much so wouldn't be much good as coordinator but will be happy to do the ride on the day and a couple of times before hand to see how long it takes if that is of any use.
Has the route through the region been decided yet?

I was really looking forward to a ride up to The Lake District and then along the coast to Carlisle - and all for a good cause. :thumb

But 10.00 at night till 03.00 in the morning?

Still it is an excellent cause so will certainly try to make it....
