My 1200 GS is coming up to a year old, and about 4500m on the clock.

I assume I'll need a yearly service.

As I live in Cumbria, and thus fairly central. Who Is going to do the best service and the best deal on that service?

Mill Sunderland (who I bought it off)
Alan Jeffries
Southport Superbikes
Motorrad Glasgow

Within a few minutes each is as close as the other.

Any suggestions out there?

Of your list I`ve only used Southport Superbikes.
They`ve always served me well and the bike has felt good afterwards.

There`s also Roy Gardner at RGM.

Top bloke....very methodical.

Do a search for his details.

As Tarka says - top bloke and offering top service

He really prefers that you stay and see exactly what you are getting for your money

Roy gets my vote.

Unfortunatley he's just become an agent for Touratech
(GS Porn)

Top man, pleasantly "grumpy" :D
He can't do enough to help, unlike most BWM dealers.

Thanks for the advice.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of Roy Gardner. Is he a BMW dealer, and thus if he does my service, will it keep the warranty etc. going??

Paul

No and yes

Southport Superbikes would certainly get my vote! Ask for Jim and tell him we sent ya! Just dont let Peter tempt you with any of the new models.....!! :D
