Wow, I feel deeply honoured that we now have our own regional forum...
So to populate this area and make it all worth while I thought I'd better post a Bonsai ride report... (Photos courtesy of LOZ.)
A small group of Oxonians went out last Sunday braving the elements and struggling to catch up with our guide who tried to get rid of us by dashing ahead with constant 90 mph through the Cotswolds - regardless of road and wind conditions. In the end we had to take serious measures to slow him down...
Step 1 - enforcing a detour by suddenly turning at a promising sign-post leading to a potential obstacle - proved temporarily successful, as it seemed sensible to everybody not to perform a simultaneous stunt here:
Possu
Mooody
Jacko - still not sure if this counts as shortcut or just chicken-out...
LOZ - our spiritual leader...
And yours truly
Step 2 - To gain a further breather we then engaged two KTMs to block the crossing - but they turned back because the water was too deep and the next service due...
With step 2 failing we had to approach another motorist for support - step 3 finally stopped the hunt and gave us some time for the essential beak chat and bollox...
Not sure if I will be asked out for a ride again after this post...
Well, I will have to trust in the famous British sense of humour...
