buying a 1200gs

Hi Gang

Im seriously thinking of getting a 1200gs but being a long term 1100gs
owner i dont know what im looking for ie.. hads the paint finish been sorted
and the mechanical stuff i heard somewhere that the 06 bikes were all sorted

any info much appriciated

Steve, mine's an '04 bike and I've no problem with the finish on it.I've got 18k on the clock,been to europe on it 2 up fully loaded,p*ssed down all the way to Italy and then on the return journey!I ride it 12 months a year,wash it regularly and am perfectly happy with it.I suggest you randomly look at a few on your travels;I don't think you'll see a bad one out there.
