I've just got around to doing the fuel filler mod on my bike, and i noticed that the new gasket is dfferent to the original (June/04 reg). I can't put any pics up as i've used the gasket, but it seems they've enlarged the o/d so that the gasket surrounds the 6 filler cap screws, giving a more uniform compression when tightened, maybe suggesting early ones might have a problem, i must admit, that when ever i've got the bike out of the garage, i always push it out before starting, and when leant over the the tank i get a slight whiff of fuel. Did anyone change the gasket, when they did the mod?
