FANUMS FORDS
STEPTOES (1st TIMERS OFFROAD) and ROAD RUN
TIM FRENCHES NORTH HANTS ROAD RUN ( BENDS and OPEN ROADS )
PAUL STURGESS`S OFFROAD EXPERIANCED ONLY (80 MILES)

10.30am - 3.30pm/4.00pm ish

Steptoe please but Danger sounds Great!!!

Will do Steptoes run as will have Pillion who has not done Off road yet so will be a good intro for her.
Otherwise Dangerous Dan for Me!!! see how we go.

How "experianced" is "experianced", IYKWIM?
Basically you need to be quite comfortable/relaxed with taking a GS down gravel/dirt/bumpy/some rutted lanes.
None of the route is that "technical" - however since it is in the dark you need to be able to concentrate on different things i.e. not being poked in the eye by a branch you can't see until the last second, missing those deer running across the track, unexpected dips/potholes/stones hidden in shadow.
On the recce we were probably doing 1/2 the speed you'd do in daylight - it just felt 3 times as fast :cool:
