Where are all the Guzzi fans Then?

I nearly bought a Griso.

My mate did instead, and when I rode it,I'm glad he did and not me.

It certainly looks better than it goes.

My mate Jim is a fan of older Guzzi's and has two of them.

A 1973 V7 Sport. I have been lucky enough to ride this sexy wee motorbike a few times and it is one of the most fun machines I have ever ridden. Remembering the right foot change keeps you on your toes. :D

In these pictures she is fitted with Lafranconi pipes. From time to time Jim will change them for a pair of Silentium "Sheark Fins" which I think look better on her. Note also the neat rear carrier which Jim made himself.

1973 V7 850GT Eldorado.

This bike is off the road at the moment awaiting new gearbox and bevel box seals. It may be some time before she gets them though as the Sport has replaced her as the main bike.

I like Guzzis.

But the only ones i've owned have been G5, ex police bikes fully faired, used to get them at auction, about £500 each, ex sussex police bikes.

First one i rode, i thought was running out of petrol = nope, thats how they run . :D

Not a really good example, i expect . :nenau I hope :D

shouldn't feel like that. gert big flywheel gives the opposite impession IME :nenau

those lovely looking 4LS front brakes on the GT850 & 750 Sport are generally rubbish though. i find the 2LS works better for some reason, and i have adjusted them which is an utter PITA.
