Thought I'd post here to give everyone an idea of the approx. timings .... please do make sure you communicate with your next region giving them ETA so they're ready and waiting at the agreed pre-arranged change-over point.

Thank you :)

Will you be passing through St Davids (Pembrokeshire) on the Region 5 route? I've very recently become a 1200GS owner and, if the timing was right, would love to tag along as you pass through.

hi jane
i am maria known as archaeo here
i will be on that leg
i think that if you go to the wales section it might give you a better i dea of when we are reaching certain sections
or
alternatively you could contact slimbo as he is the area co-ordinator and he should have an idea of the route we will be taking

oh and welcome aboard :)

If I remember rightly the plan is to head north from Haverfordwest direct to Fishguard. I've pm'd Slimbo earlier this week but haven't had a reply yet.

I pm'd you as well belly wobbler did you receive the message?

Hi folks

Even if it's H'west to Fishguard, if there are approximate timings for when you'll be passing through I'll do my best to make it across to see you. I'll keep checking this thread for news.

Best wishes
Jane

Hi jane,

give Slimbo a call on his mobile 'number above' he's on nights at the moment so you can probably get him this evening. He's very aproachable so give him a shout.

I'm sure you'll be more than welcome to join us at any point you can, or even for the whole trip.

Stay in touch, the more support the better. If you can help in any way, we sure could use it. :thumb

Ride safe Val.

hi val

are you still up for being my riding buddy after my leg?
if so do you want me to sort out some campsites or shall we play it by ear?

you can pm if you like :D

hi jane it would be brilliant if you can join us on the run, looking forward to meeting you :)

Hi Val and Archaeo

I'll give Slimbo a call.

Thanks, both.

Hi Jane,

Did you manage to get hold of Slimbo?

I was just wondering if you've found the Wales threads in the regonal section of the forum site (you probably have).
The monthly meet at the Abercrave inn is always good to go to meet some of the other GSers.

Check it out, maybe meet you there some time :thumb

Welcome along, Val.

Welcome along, Val.

Hi Val

I've spoken to Slimbo and will be loitering on the H'west to Fishguard part of the run. Last Thurs and Fri I did the off-road course and met Room 101 and Lucy, and we were all staying at the Abercrave Inn. We had a great time on the course - I can't wait to have another go at it.

Thanks, too, for pointing me in the direction of the Wales threads - it'd be good to meet up with some local GSers.
