Vario Top Box Fix?

I belive there has been a couple of top box's taken a ride down the road in the past, due to the bottom of the box, which is by the removal clip, breaking, have just noticed mine has a split in the plastic, is there an easy fix? or is it a trip down to my mate with the carbon fibre?

Or is there anyone out there with a receipt so I can get it changed

theres an "off road" mod for the top box isnt there??? I saw it somewhere but cant find it, you dont have a part number do ya ?? thanks

Don't have the part number, but I got this with a replacement top box and here's a reference to that:

I do not know if there is a BMW mod kit to install to existing boxes but it is pretty simple - just a pair of torx bolts that go though the top box (where the rubber buffers on the top box used to fit) and secure to the the mounting bracket via spacers and nuts.
