After collecteing a few of the GS riding customers of BMW Astle in Grimsby this morning I brought them across to the Peak District for a days riding.
It ABSOLUTELY hammered it down on the way to the Peaks but as we arrived at the first cafe the sun was breaking through and the day looked promising.

I found them plenty of muddy, floody and narrow lanes that the Peaks are famous for and of course cafes to warm up in.
We visted the old market hall at Longnor later in the day where the staff produced a giant teapot and cups for all - great cakes here as well.

After saying bye to them at the M1 I was rewarded with a glorious sunset on my way home.
All in all a top day out for me and them - and nothing leaked!
Sherpa ;)

You jammy git. While you were out getting wet, I was indoors buying mine.

Am now a proud owner of a '04 1200GS (non adv), and am dead chuffed. This is coming from someone who rides a FAST bike

It feels like im riding a 250 cc again! Cant wait to get the bike on some proper roads!

Ps Im hoping im bucking the trend at buying one, aged 29 :D :rob
