electrical problems

My bike was underwater during the flood and is now running well apart from a problem with the electrical on the instrument panel which is only working intermittently. which means no speedo rev counter etc. when the bike is stationary the panel is chattering with the clock and dials flashing and jumping. All other electrics on the bike seem to be working fine,

I've cleaned and wd40ed every bit of electrics i can see, any advice from any one or does anyone have a circuit/wiring diagram.. all advice gratefully received

I find the same symptoms happen to mine following a good wash or riding through a storm - it usually takes a day or two to dry out properly and then returns to normal.
