Pulsarneon suitable

Biked into Redditch today.
Has anyone ever come out again without map, compass, GPS etc.
It's worse than canoeing in the Okavango for orientation failure big time game.

Pulsarneon is made by Surelight but Prayerbourne in Redditch are the only people stitching it into M/C kit. (Actually it's not stitched, I think the process involves high frequency welding, whatever that is.)

They can kit you out with anything from Sam Brownes to really heavy duty stormcoats. Some things are stock, otherwise takes about a week.

As you say the electro-luminescence can be constant or pulse. I would have said the pulsing thing would be a legal no-no. But it appears the no flashing light rules of the Highways Act do not apply to hats or garments, only parts of the vehicle. I think I'll constant be, like a pilgrim.

However apparently the police are backing the flashing idea as a safety plus.

(Some people will wear anything with a pulse!)

Can get the waistcoats in Halfords imminently

Designed and manufactured by Praybourne Ltd, the waistcoats are now available in Halfords stores across the UK. Debbie Dutton, Cycle Accessories Buyer, commented, "We began to stock Pulsarneon® waistcoats for adults last year and they were very popular. The bright lights of the Pulsarneon® waistcoats can be seen from a great distance even in complete darkness and, combined with reflective markings, the waistcoats provide excellent visibility in all conditions. They are perfect for anyone out on the roads in the dark such as joggers, cyclists, motorcyclists, dog walkers, horse riders and children."
